My coaching approach
I am motivational and development coach specialising in helping people find the motivation to change their own lives whether it be at work, in their relationships, or to feel healthier in mind and body. I have developed a strong interest in encouraging individuals to strive to achieve enhanced well-being to drive them forward through difficult times or build and improve their lives through whatever means available.
I have a post graduate certificate in coaching from Birkbeck University am qualified to coach and am European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) accredited at Practitioner level.
My coaching is usually non-directive in nature and based on a combination of different coaching approaches including cognitive behaviour, self-compassion and mindfulness based techniques. I take a whole person approach and I believe challenges experienced in our professional lives are not necessarily easily separated from issues in our personal lives and what we do in our personal lives can benefit our professional lives.
I am a member of the EMCC and follow their code of ethics.
I also work with businesses and individuals within organisations to develop employees to their full potential in their roles and prepare them for any changes they might be wanting to make in their professional careers. Motivation in work is key to enjoying a fulfilled and stimulating career and long term health and happiness. A large part of the work I do is around building resilience inside and outside the workplace.
